F-I-V-E! I still can’t believe my baby boy is five, a whole hand! It’s so bittersweet watching them grow up. I would give anything for one more snuggle with my sweet baby boy, but watching him learn and grow into the amazing boy he has become has been an an absolute joy!
Brady is still superhero obsessed! He’s already had a Spider-Man & Avenger party, and this year it was Batman! With the kids’ birthdays being in May & June we always have swim parties at our house. This year we decided to do something different and celebrate at our cabin up North. Cooler temps, beautiful scenery, fishing and outside play made for the perfect party spot. It was a smaller party than normal with just close friends and family.
The first thing I got which set the tone of the party was this awesome graphic Batman wrapping paper that I used as the backdrop. I used an Ikea blanket as a table runner and my favorite chalk board banner that can be used over and over again.
The cake was store bought (I added a Batman figure and a #5 that I found in the Target dollar section) and the cupcakes were homemade, simple and easy!
These little drawstring bags, also found in the Target dollar section made the perfect favor bags. I stenciled the bat symbol on them and added some bubbles, little figures and treats.
We even had a special guest or two;) attend. He was beyond excited to see his favorite superheroes. Seeing your children full of that much joy and excitement never gets old.
It really was the perfect day celebrating our sweet boy. Hoping his every wish comes true. Happy Birthday, Brady bug!
