It’s hard to believe that next week my first baby, the one that made me a mama, will be five!! I just can’t believe how fast the years have flown by. My sweet Brady bug is growing up so fast, and while it can be bittersweet I couldn’t be more proud of the little boy he is becoming.
He still LOVES superheroes and we’re going on our 3rd straight row of superhero parties …this year it’s Batman! I thought it would be fun to throw it back to his very 1st birthday party. This is when I discovered my love for throwing parties;) I had so much fun putting together this baseball themed birthday party for our lil’ slugger.
My husband grew up playing baseball and Brady had accumulated quite a bit of baseball/ lil slugger gear, so I thought a baseball themed 1st birthday party would be a home run! (this is why I shouldn’t blog late at night…bad jokes, lol)
Brady’s birthday is right after Easter and Target had these little baseball tins at the time. They were the first thing I picked up and I built his party around them.
I adored his birthday treats. The baseball cupcakes, cake pops and birthday cake were perfection!
It wouldn’t be a baseball party without Big League Chew, Cracker Jax and peanuts;)
We decided to keep it easy and make ball park food for lunch. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks.
I think all birthdays are cause for a celebration but there is just something extra special about 1st birthdays:)
