Happy happy Friday!! This week sure went by quickly, and so has this year! I still can’t believe it’s mid-September (probably because it’s still so insanely hot here). But that hasn’t stopped me from busting out all things fall. I’ve already started decorating and I don’t care who knows it;) Nothing gets me more excited for the changing seasons and upcoming holidays than yummy scented candles. I have this pumpkin spice one and it’s amazing. Although, it may not feel like fall outside, at least it smells like it inside!
I must preface this next favorite by saying, I am in no way a beauty guru. In fact, it takes me five minutes start to finish to do my make-up, and I’m pretty sure I’ve been doing it the same way for over a decade. However, I do love trying new products and I recently discovered this one out of desperation. When we went to Disneyland last month, I forgot my mascara…I know, the struggle;) Luckily there was a Sephora on the grounds. Thank you California Grand! I ran in to get a little travel-size tube to get me through the trip and now it’s my absolute favorite mascara.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my recent post about Danielle Walker’s Against all Grain ‘Celebrations’ Cookbook. I am thrilled to be part of the launch team for her latest Cookbook, and I haven’t been able to put it down since I got my hands on it! The pictures are beautiful (very important) it has lay flat pages (hallelujah) and everything I’ve made so far has been amazing! I love to cook and entertain and this book is perfect for all the upcoming holidays. Can’t wait to share more as I cook and bake my way through it! Pre-order your copy here.
Many of the recipes in the cookbook call for raw honey. Since I recently stocked up on it, I thought, why not store it in the most adorable honey pot ever?! I just picked this one up and little ol’ Dottie just makes me happy, it’s the little things:)
…and last, but not least, this mom truths video is a must-see…I lost it at 2:29;);) Share it with all your mama friends for a good laugh, enjoy a cup of coffee until it’s acceptable to drink wine, and have a fabulous weekend!!
