Happy Friday everyone!! It’s been awhile since I’ve done Friday favorites and I’ve got a few I’d love to share with you all. We’ve been experiencing some gorgeous weather here in AZ (mid 70’s) and it has me dreaming of outdoor entertaining. I was at IKEA last week picking up a few things, while simultaneously getting a core workout from those damn carts, aren’t they the worst?! Anyways, they had tons of new spring decor out and I fell in love with these hobnail tea light holders. I definitely scooped some up, such a steal at $1.99 each.
Spring and Easter are just around the corner and I can’t wait. I only have a few more things to get for each of the kids’ baskets and then I’m done! I love filling Easter baskets just as much, if not more than stuffing Christmas stockings. I’ve got a round up of my favorite Easter basket fillers coming to the blog soon.
One of things I always include in their baskets is a new book. I ordered each of the kids one of these Lost My Name books. I was planning to put them in their Easter baskets, but I couldn’t wait! These books are so much fun! The characters go on an adventure and throughout the story they find each letter of the child’s name. At the very end their whole name is finally found. Both the kids LOVED them, as you can see below:) These would be great for Easter baskets or as a birthday or baby shower gift.
I’m a little, okay, a lot obsessed with jammies for the kids. If they match, that’s even better;) So, when I saw these bunny ones I had to order them for Brooklyn. Aren’t they just the cutest?!
Greyden Candle Co just released their spring scents and they’re amazing! I’m currently obsessed with Floral Shop, it’s seriously so good! If floral scents aren’t your thing, there are lots of other amazing candles to choose from like Fig & Honey, Farmers Market, Coconut Cream Cake, and Blueberry Cheesecake!!
Speaking of scents, I must share my favorite scent to wear. I’ve worn this Jo Malone perfume in Orange Blossom for years, it’s my go-to spring/summer scent. The smell is absolutely intoxicating and people are constantly asking me what I am wearing. You cannot go wrong with it!
If you need some spring inspiration be sure to pick up the latest Magnolia Journal. It’s full of beautiful inspiration, practical tips and delicious recipes. It also discusses a topic I will be blogging about soon, SIMPLICITY!
I’m looking forward to a fun, family filled weekend. We have plans to finish our master bedroom revamp…can’t wait to share it with you all when it’s done. I also planned a little surprise “day date” for Adam and I on Saturday (If I told him what we were doing, he probably wouldn’t go;). Be sure to check out my stories this weekend to see what I planned;)
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Cheers!
