Hard to believe Easter is right around the corner! I just love this time year, the weather is warming up, orange blossoms (my favorite) are blooming and Spring is on it’s way.
When it comes to Easter baskets for the kiddos, I really enjoy thoughtfully selecting special goodies for each one. We are trying to be more intentional about the gifts we give them, going for the less is more, quality over quantity philosophy. Some of my favorite things to include in their baskets are books, bath toys, chalk, bubbles and play-doh…my new favorite is ZDough, https://www.etsy.com/shop/ZDough. It’s naturally scented play-doh made with yummy spices and essential oils. I really try to avoid giving them a basket full of sugar. They prefer the fun surprises over candy anyway so it’s a win-win!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite non-candy Easter basket fillers to share with all of you. I love the Tegu magnetic blocks, the pocket pouch featured below is perfect for on-the-go. It easily fits in a diaper bag and keeps little hands busy at the doctors office, church, restaurants etc. If you follow me on Instagram you know that Brooklyn recently got her very first “real” pedicure and she loved it! Piggy Paint nail polish will be the perfect addition to her basket. It’s a natural, non-toxic, odorless polish and it comes in lots of adorable colors! Check out the rest of the round-up below!
